Rule 140
Tenure of Inquiry Committee

(1) Unless otherwise decided by the chairman, the working period of the inquiry committee shall be at most thirty days from the date of formation. (2) If the inquiry committee is unable to complete its work within the period specified in sub-rule (1), it may request the meeting through the chairman for an extension of time and the meeting shall The deadline can be extended by a maximum of fifteen days.
